There are no guarantees in Hollywood, however the strength of the writing indicates there may well be interest from multiple venues

This was the best dialogue I’ve read this month

What a terrific, refreshing read

A distinctly British style and feel - I loved this.

The writer has a unique voice that stands out on the page and their perspective is unique

The lack of constructive criticism is due entirely to the care with which you have crafted your story

I enjoyed reading your script and will anticipate the premier in the future

The Lesson is an excellent script with incredible potential. Production companies reading this should find merit in the fact it’s well written and has highly covetable roles for A-list actors.

The Lesson is a very compelling and well written script with characters we grow to love and cherish over time. Vanessa’s constant rise and fall is well conceived and heart breaking.

About me

Polaroid_couple-07.png

I was born and raised in England, the happy child of two amazing parents. My father, who went to work down a coal mine at 14, exceeded all expectations by attending Oxford University in his twenties. A very funny man and a natural storyteller, he kept my brother and I amused for hours on end.  Luckily for me, I inherited these genes.

Early on, I learnt a great deal about the idiosyncrasies of life through several part-time jobs. Red Coat at Butlins Holiday Camp, radio station runner, bingo caller and  pie baker.

Marketing Career

After university I went into marketing and discovered my right-side creative brain. I set about learning the tools of the trade and working hard. In my 30s I set up and ran 3 successful marketing agencies employing over 100 staff as CEO and founder. Winner of several European marketing awards
